Ozempic® Wegovy® Mounjaro® Apo-Semaglutide

The Program

What Supervision Actually Means

A GLP-1 prescription is easy to obtain online. What it does not come with is anyone checking your bloodwork, titrating your dose against how you are responding, or catching the side effect that should stop treatment.

01

Eligibility screening

Full medical history, BMI and waist assessment, and screening for contraindications. Baseline metabolic bloodwork including HbA1c, lipids, liver and kidney function.

02

Medication & titration

We start low and increase slowly — the single biggest factor in whether you tolerate treatment. Your dose is reviewed monthly against your response, not against a fixed schedule.

03

Monthly review

Weight, measurements, side effects and blood pressure at every visit. Bloodwork repeated at three months. Unlimited messaging between visits — answered by your practitioner.

04

Protecting muscle

Rapid weight loss costs lean mass if nobody is watching. We set protein targets, monitor for deficiency, and add B12 support where dietary intake has dropped.

About these prices Medication cost varies as your dose is titrated upward. We confirm your monthly figure in writing before you start, and again whenever your dose changes — so you are never surprised by an invoice. Metabolic bloodwork is billed separately at $150. Your eligibility consultation is complimentary, with no obligation to proceed.

Eligibility

Are you a candidate?

Eligibility generally starts at a BMI of 30, or a BMI of 27 with a weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia or obstructive sleep apnea.

We screen for contraindications including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2, pancreatitis, active gallbladder disease, severe gastrointestinal disease, and pregnancy or planned pregnancy.

We will decline where it is not appropriate If GLP-1 therapy is not right for you, we will say so at consultation and refund the difference rather than prescribe. That is what makes this a medical program rather than a subscription.

In clinical trials, semaglutide produced an average total body weight loss of around 15 percent over 68 weeks, and tirzepatide around 20 percent. Individual results vary considerably, and weight is regained if treatment stops without a maintenance plan — which is why we plan the exit from the beginning.

The most common are nausea, reduced appetite, constipation, reflux and fatigue — usually strongest in the first weeks after a dose increase and usually settling. We titrate slowly for exactly this reason. Serious side effects including pancreatitis and gallbladder disease are uncommon but are discussed in full at consultation.

Obesity is a chronic condition, and GLP-1 therapy treats it for as long as you take it. Most patients run an active phase of nine to eighteen months, then move to a lower maintenance dose or a structured taper alongside habit and resistance-training support.

Some private plans cover GLP-1 medication for weight management, and many do not. We provide the documentation your insurer will ask for, and we will tell you honestly which of the four programs gives you the best outcome per dollar if you are paying out of pocket.

Yes, and many patients do. Significant weight loss can leave the mid-face hollow — the effect commonly called “Ozempic face.” We plan for it rather than react to it, usually with Sculptra® or structural filler once your weight has stabilised.
